How to control who sends data to graphite?

I would like to control who can send data to graphite. Is there config setting which can be used to control this?

Hi dr,

No, unfortunately there're no such controls in graphite. Its protocol is quite simple and have no authorization/authentication, so, using IP based networking conttrols (iptables / firewalls) or tunnels (ssltunnel / vpns) are only options.
