Graphite

Graphite to monitor a linux cluster.

Hi,
  I want to know what is the correct way to use Graphite to monitor a Linux cluster with many machines? Seems one has to install Graphite seperately on each machine, but how to centrally collect and display metrics of all machines in one webpage? Thanks.

Graphite is a time-series storage and visualization "engine", it's not a collection agent. You'll want a dedicated Graphite/Carbon server with some other collection agent (I prefer collectd) running on your hosts, sending data to the Graphite server.
