How graphite rolling data

I have 5 minutes data in my repository for 6 months. I need to summarize this data in hourly avgs. I issue the summary(1h, avg), function for a month long, I get back 2 hour avg's instead of one hour avgs.

This is my storage-schema.conf file looks like:

[default_1min_for_1day]
pattern = .*
retentions = 60s:1d,5m:60d,10m:120d,30m:365d,1h:945d

Any ideas what might be going on here?
