Changing the default line mode to "Connected line" from "Slope line" ?

Asked by Madhurranjan

Hi,

Our requirements are such that we want to enable default line mode to "Connected Line" instead of "Slope Line". How can we do this ? When I use the api I can specify this option but for people viewing the GUI , I need the "Connected Line" option to be the default.

thanks

Madhurranjan

In the dashboard, under the "Graphs" menu, there is a place
to edit the defaults. I believe you can do it there.

Thanks Jeff. However, the edit default options present there apply only for the dashboard you're creating but if you go back to the main graphite url and try to view something , the default mode for the line is still "slope" and not "connected" . For the dashboard thats created the edited defaults are saved and works fine. Thoughts ?

cheers

Did you manage to solve the problem? I am looking for a way around it myself. Please post it if you find a way. I would greatly appreciate it. I would do the same if I beat you to it!

I guess we cannot do that unless they have implemented something since this:
