How to sum targets in URL API

http://log01/render?target=p.domain.*.hps&title='Pixel%20HPS'&width=1200&height=600&from=-8h

I have hits per second charted above for every server. I want the total for all servers. Is that possible with the url api?

If so how?

Thanks. I was sent to readthedocs from the graphite app but I swear it was just empty.
