keepLastValue with data point beyond timeseries start

Asked by Chris Higgs

I have many stats which only get logged when the value changes and use keepLastValue to draw the graph. Unfortunately this only works if a datapoint was logged within the timescale of the graph, otherwise no value is displayed.

Is there any way to ask graphite to search back to the last datapoint if there is no value within the current timeseries?

I don't think there is a method to do that.

Can you perhaps display several graphs to the users with longer and longer time periods? Like have a 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week graph?
