Information for general users?

Asked by Jeremy McCoy

Since before the announcement of uTouch, I have been anxiously awaiting the ability to use multi-touch on Ubuntu, which is one of the last things keeping me on OS-X. I was wondering if there is a user site that details how to get this working on 10.04, and if not, is there a place where a wiki can be set up so that such a guide can evolve naturally?

At the time of your question, we had just announced MT support in Ubuntu and had only started a wiki. Furthermore, the Answers part of Launchpad hadn't been configured, so none of us got your question :-(

That being said, the Multitouch wiki page has gotten several serious make-overs since last August:
  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch

There's some pretty good information there, including getting help on IRC and mail lists.

If you don't find the information you need on the wiki (in this case, stuff for general users), let us know and we'll try to put something together for you.

Thanks!
