yesterday i installed winxp, in the first partition, before it is reiserfs, now ntfs,
now i'm trying to install ubuntu, gparted say that all space is not assigned, but with the utility disktype I see the partitions are ok.

Anyway, how can i install ubuntu, i tried dapper, edgy, and feisty beta, gprted say the same...

(could the alternative cd help me?)

Thanks for all

Byez

Gparted is taking a long time when it scans all devices. Is it normal in Ubuntu 7.10 ?
When I use Gparted I cannot format any partition, or resize, make new or delete as these words are in grey and not in black ie unavailable. Why?

Thanks!
