can I link different recipes?

Asked by andrearicci on 2014-03-30

is it possible to link different recipes - specially in the ingredients -?
As an example I have a "bolognese ragù sauce" then in my "lasagne alla bolognese" I want to link to the first recipe instead of write the ragù recipe again. Can I? Even bette if this could work in the ingredients: say the ragù recipes was based on 1 kilo, but in my lasagne recipe's ingredient I would like to put only 500 g of [link to ragù recipe]
Thank you

You can add a recipe as an ingredient. From w/in the ingredient editing tab
of the editor view, choose the "Add recipe" button and it will add the
recipe as an ingredient in your new recipe.

When you add the recipe, you can edit the amount based on the "yield' of
the other (so if your sauce recipe yields 3 cups, you could call for only 1
cup of it in another recipe).
