Lost my Recipes

My unbuntu crashed when updating some kernel issue I reinstalled on a new partition so as to salvage my files from the old one. All my files are stll there and accessible but i do not know where the recipes are saved at so that I can use them! help please I am a chef for a major restaurant and I just started using this software and didnt have it backed up so short of retyping out all the recipes....

By default, Gourmet stores its data in ~/.gourmet (i.e. a hidden subfolder of your home directory named .gourmet -- mind the dot). Copying that folder from your old Ubuntu installation to your new partition should give you back your recipes.

Thank You! you just saved my life!! All my recipes are restored! now i only wish gourmet had a plate costing feature! its a fantastic tool thusfar

I've created a feature request for a plate cost calculating feature at https://github.com/thinkle/gourmet/issues/714
but frankly, I can't tell if we can implement this any time soon as it seems to be rather complex and we're still quite understaffed.
