Where can I find the recipe db under Windows

Asked by Borim

I am testing gourmet at windows and having some problems with saving new recipes. So I want to take a look into the db file, but I can not find it.

After reading Question #220169 I expect a .gourmet folder in my home directory, but there is non. At least not in the home root and a search after "gourmet" had no results.

Where can I find the recipe db?

the gourmet directory is wherever Windows says application data should be
-- that's different with different versions of Windows. Gourmet tries to
get the right spot from environmental details, etc. A thorough search for
recipes.db should find it.

Thanks for the info. How so often windows was the problem. The search in my home directory did not find anything, as the application data folders were not searched. At least not when you are in the home root directory. When you are at {home}\AppData they gourmet folder is found instantly.

The path for Win7: C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\gourmet
