How to install a language translation

Asked by Lotiopep

Hello.

I just downloaded the most recent gnomenu package and installed it. I wanted to have it in my own language, but I did not find the translation, so I made it using launchpad. After that, I don't know how to install it so I can use gnomenu translated.
I requested the download and I got a file with extention "po". What do I have to do after that?
Can you help me, please?

Thanks so much.

either wait for the new package to come up, or install from source, put the downloaded translation in the po directory and sudo make install

Thanks man! It worked! But I thought it might be an option in gnomenu settings for changing the language. Now I realise that it take it from the system language.

Thanks again.
