GnoMenu

GnoMenu doesn't work in Awn

After adding GnoMenu applet to Awn, instead of icon there is a white vertical line. What should I do to fix this?
This is how it looks:

I'm using up-to-date Gentoo with:
awn-0.3.2.1
gnomenu-2.0

you need at least awn 0.4 beta

Have you tried a different button and also did you try to move it to another position on the AWN bar?
