When I try to run GnoMenu.py show-menu I got the following error message:

juancate@pc:~$ GnoMenu.py show-menu
gio not found
Traceback (most recent call last):

First, I got the follow message:

juancate@pc:~$ GnoMenu.py run-in-window
gio not found
30

** (GnoMenu.py:7788): WARNING **: Binding 'Super_L' failed!

deskbar found - binding
start
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/gnomenu/Panel_Object.py", line 404, in timeout_callback
    self.hwg = Main_Menu(self.HideMenu)
  File "/usr/lib/gnomenu/Menu_Main.py", line 91, in __init__
    self.setup()
  File "/usr/lib/gnomenu/Menu_Main.py", line 314, in setup
    self.PGL = ProgramList()
  File "/usr/lib/gnomenu/Menu_Widgets.py", line 804, in __init__
    self.XDG = XDGMenu()
  File "/usr/lib/gnomenu/Menu_Items.py", line 87, in __init__
    self.BaseMenu = xdg.Menu.parse("applications")
  File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/xdg/Menu.py", line 501, in parse
    raise ParsingError('File not found', "/etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu")
xdg.Exceptions.ParsingError: ParsingError in file '/etc/xdg/menus/applications.m
enu', File not found

But later, I made a symbolic link to gnome-applications.menu and called it applications.menu. That solved the problem for the menu, but still I can get it working in the deskbar and can't use the Gnomenu.py show-menu command.
