right-arrow key zombie

Asked by Sam Devol

Since the last update (0.8.3) it appears that the right arrow key is being touched every few seconds (but it is not!). The buffer fills up and the effect is like someone is holding the right arrow key down constantly. I have a G110 that's about a month old, and I'm running Ubuntu 11.10, Unity (not 2D). This creates some interesting problems just trying to re-size or move windows, pull down menus, etc. And forget trying to edit text or even copy/paste.

Also noticing a new error message in the Logitech G Keyboard Configuration window under the 'Keyboard' tab:
The Gnome15 desktop service is running, but failed to connect to the keyboard driver. The error message given was Keyboard driver disconnected.

Any ideas?

Please disregard this (above). Turns out it was pilot error. A short between the headphones.

Still using a wireless mouse that was mated with previous keyboard. When I plugged in the new G110 (USB) I never unplugged the old PS2 KB connector from the wireless mouse/kb transmitter. Once unplugged, zombie behavior died with a head-shot.
