The three-step with ./configure && make && sudo make install does not install the applet properly.

How can I install Gnome15 properly?

Apologies for the late reply. I am in the process of preparing for release 0.0.3 (updating the web site with full tutorials and documentation), as well as creating packages for Ubuntu 10.10.

Once this is released, hopefully your problems will go away (there have also been improvements in the build scripts).

Expect the release in the next day or two.
