Asked by Damien Lecan

GS deb file depends on default-jre which depends on open-jdk.

Is there a way to depends on sun jre instead of open-jdk ?

Sure, it can depend from both of these runtimes. So if the sun runtime is installed, the package will not force you to install the open-jdk runtime. I will take care of that for the next package.

A new 0.3 version of GNOME Split is available which should answer to your question. The java6-runtime depency should make you able to run GNOME Split with a Sun runtime without installing the open-jdk runtime.
