Hi Dominik,
Thank you for getting back to me. I have used Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Terminal to download Gnome paint.

Which feature did you try to use? Was it the text tool?

The most of the features work fine but when I use Zoom feature, the message shows up saying Sorry, but the zoom feature has not yet been implemented and the same thing happens when I use Text feature too.

Sorry for the later reply. I understand the issue now, and I can offer some background and advice.

Unfortunately this project has been left effectively unmaintained for years now. The tools you refer to have not been added yet, and most likely never will, as there is no one actively working on the project. I'm basically keeping some light on, but the chances gnome-paint would be fully functional are pretty slim.

What I would recommend to you is looking into alternatives like those listed at https://itsfoss.com/open-source-paint-apps/ and trying another program. I can't recommend any of them personally, as I've only worked with Krita, but it's in a bit different league compared to plain and simple tools like gnome-paint.

I understand this might not be the most satisfying answer, but I hope you'll find something to your liking.

Hi Dominik,
I have followed your advice and tried to see if I can find something to my liking. You have mentioned that you use Krita so I have looked at that and found very easy to use it for the people like me who do not know much about using computer. Once again a big thank you for helping me.
