Gmailwatcher needs attention on Maverick

I've never noticed this. Yes, there is some delay in envelope going green and entry appearing in menu due to multiple labels/accounts.

It is not a delay it just does not show anything at all except OSD message. It was everything OK on Lucid though. I will try to catch the reason and will provide clear steps how to reproduce it. I have one Gmail account and two Google Apps accounts. Perhaps it is something because of that.

Try using each account separately. That way you'll know which account is causing problems.

It is hard to catch what causes the problem. Sometimes it works perfectly sometimes not. I am not 100% sure but I think it is something related to multiple accounts. I have set up 4 accounts and noticed that if the last account on the list has unread emails then everything works OK. If there is new mail on the first, second or third account but not on the fourth then Gmailwatcher shows nothing except OSD message for a few seconds.

I will give you more updates about this issue when I know more.

I am seeing this very same issue, sometimes I don't even get notifications I know I got new email, but gmailwatcher only blinks the icon for 1 second and then makes it gray again, new mail subject and preview is not visible in indicator menu but if I click to open main gmailwatcher window, I can see the email being there

A few days ago I merged in a patch which solved the problem. Do you have the latest version?

Yeah, it is still the same over here. Try removing your e-mail accounts one by one. In my case there is one e-mail account which cause that kind of behavior. I check this account manually until this issue will be solved.

Actually I didn't check if it works with the latest update. I will add this e-mail account which does not work with 'gmailwatcher' and will confirm if it is fixed.

Hm... I see some improvements but still there are some bugs left. The good thing is that when I click on Gmailwatcher menu item and open application window I can see all the list with new email (it didn't work previously). But indicator applet's envelope still has some problems. When e-mail arrives I can see OSD message for a few secs and then it's gone. Envelope stays white:/

Yes I am still experiencing the same bug, using latest version and it's still not fixed
I've been using it since very first version so maybe some leftovers settings from the beginning are causing problems ?
