Nothing happens

Asked by ahmedh

Hi,

There were some problems with Moblock interfereing with gm-notify.py, so I shut down Moblock. However, whenever I try to run /usr/bin/gm-notify.py in the terminal, nothing happens! There's no output from the command and definitely no notifications, even though the time between check times elapses over tenfold. I even made sure to have unread messages in my inbox. When I first ran the program I got the same errors Mattia did (https://answers.launchpad.net/gm-notify/+question/89861). I applied the fixes provided in that thread and now find myself here. Any tips?

 /etc/blockcontrol/blockcontrol.conf

add the "google inc" to IP_remove line like below.
IP_REMOVE="Google Inc"

After restart moblock

to checl tail /var/log/moblock.log

google Inc shouldn't be blocked.
