Problem Compiling on LinuxMint Debian Edition

I just got problem on compiling
I use ./autogen.sh , then it's running until the error message:

configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating po/Makefile.in
config.status: error: cannot find input file: `Makefile.in'

any ideas?

looks like some build dependencies are missing, intltool maybe, there is a
debian build-essential package that should istall everything required for
compiling software

also check google for this error, there may be some other causes of this
problem, anyway it is probsbly something on your box, cause it does compiles
on ubuntu and archlinux

tell me if you manage to resolve it or if you still have the problem
