Does glogic work okay with Mint 17.3 Rosa?

Installed glogic (digital logic simulator) from the Repository. Program opens fine but when I try to place a component per the instructions, nothing happens. Sometime swiping the cursor across the screen will cause a component to appear but I can't select it or add others. Behavior us generally unresponsive. Running on an ACER Aspire One, with 140GB of free space, not sure about RAM.
