Can this extension work for Nightingale?

Hi, I was wondering if this extension might work for the Nightingale music player as well? I've tried to hack the install.rdf file, which allows Nightingale to install it, but it doesn't do anything upon restart. Is it a complicated procedure to make this extension functional for Nightingale?
