Not able to run glance index

I have installed glance, while installing it created a glance system user and added it to glance group, due to this not able to run glance index using other user, also not able to login to glance as not aware of password, what is the purpose of this glance user and wht is the password to login?

Hello Pramod,

Because of security, so we use glance account to instead root.
you can use root to change the password of user glance.

problem solved by chnaging the group of the glnace directory to root..is this right way to do?
