Swift backend with Keystone v1 auth

Asked by Nicolas d on 2012-03-27

Hi,

I got Openstack up and running on Debian with Devstack (btw : people interested in debian specificity can check the fork in my github account : nicolas2bonfils/devstack ).

Glance is configured with file backend and I want to setup it with swift backend. Actually Glance only support keystone v1 (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/glance/+bug/944946), and it blocks me.

I can authenticate in keystone and swift with v2, but I don't know how to configured Glance API to do the v1 auth.
The conf files (glance/keystone/swift) : https://gist.github.com/2215460

Thanks for the help.

--- Nicolas

Nicolas, you will have to wait until the bug fix for the v2 auth in the Glance Swift driver to hit.

Here is the code review happening right now on it:
