how to add ovf genenrated by vmware

 I created ovf using vmware. it created two files .ovf and .vmdk , whether I have to upload both the files or only .vmdk file.
If both the file need to be upload, then is it like uploading aki and ami or different

Current vmwareapi driver of nova supports only thick flat vmdk disk. So you can try upload flat vmdk disk with container format as 'bare'
