Hidden files and cut/copy/paste ?

Asked by adam0509

Hi,

They're are not many FTP programs on Linux. gFTP seems goods, but they are 2 annoyings things :

-Hidden folders/files are always shown. It seems it can't be hide, it's very annoying : I always make few FTP transfer from files in my home, and each time I have to search the good folder/file in the thousand of ".config" folders/files...

-Why can't I use cut/copy/paste ? gFTP is for GTK, and it GTK, they are only two very similar file managers : Nautilus (GNOME) and Thunar (>=XFCE4.4). So, if you could make the cut/copy/paste compatible for those file manager, this would be cool.

Thank you in advance !!

Good Point, it would be useful.

I expect the gftp managers have recieved similar things about the hidden files as bug reports, and are probably working on it now. (Im not certain if there is a team, as gftp was made by one man if i remember correctly).

As to the cut copy and paste, that is also worth a look at, another good idea.

(The last gftp was in 2005, so a new release may be coming soon...)

Can you help with this problem?
