Hi Eduardo,

Thanks for the tip. I exported my file to a csv file with Export-graph file.
Unfortunately Ucinet can only work with Excel. I converted the csv file with
"text to colums" in a proper Excel file. But I run into the limit of max 256
columns you can use in Excel 2003. Do you know if there is a trick to load
more than 256 columns in excel?

kind regards,

Peter

Hi Sébastien,

Could you be more specific about exporting to .net. In my version of
Gephi0.8 I don't see that option when I klick "Expot", "graphfile" I see 4
different file extensions: csv, gdf, gexf and graphml.

I tried Eduardo Ramos' option of converting to a csv file. Unfortunately
Ucinet can only work with Excel. I converted the csv file with "text to
columns" in a proper Excel file. But I run into the limit of max 256 columns

Eduardo,

This option is not avialable in my version Gephi0.8? I only see csv, gdf,
gexf and graphml file extensions? I do I do this conversion?

regards,

Peter

Is your version 0.8 alpha?
You should upgrade to 0.8beta here https://launchpad.net/gephi/0.8/0.8beta

I upgraded to Gephi 0.8 for windows and I can see the extension .net now. I converted the file to .net and imported the file in Ucinet. It works and can analyse it.

Sébastien and Eduardo, thanks for helping me out on this !!

kind regards,

Peter
