Embedding Gephi Visual Components in Applications

I am working on a large application that uses graphs with visual representations and I decided to step away from my current method which is based on prefuse graph visualization and would much rather learn to use the visualization Gephi Provides. I believe I saw a similar question before but I was wondering is there any tools or tips/suggestions to do this?

Visualization is not intended to be part of the Toolkit for the moment. Unfortunately the Visualization modules are not modular enough to be reused in other applications.
