Geda box element pitch and angle properties

What is the meaning of this properties. My gEDA package draw filled box for any values entered.

These properties applied for hatched or mesh fill styles on objects which can be filled. If they are editable, I assume you have selected one of the hatch or mesh styles.

The angle (degrees I believe) defines the orientation of the hatch, and the pitch is its spacing (in drawing units). Remember that the default gschem grid is 100 units. If you specify a pitch too small, it may look as if it is solid.
