Gearman Send Buffer Too Small

I am working on a project that uses Gearman and PECL Gearman. The worker is getting one of its registered functions invoked, but the job is empty. In the logs, I see the following:

GearmanWorker::work(): send_packet(GEARMAN_SEND_BUFFER_TOO_SMALL) send buffer too small (8192) -> libgearman/connection.cc:445

Where can I set the send buffer and is there any documentation about this?
