relative file pathes in .geany project file

Asked by atcl

A .geany project file saves the project member files with absolute file pathes, manually changing them to relative file pathes doesn''t seem to work, is there a certain trick to do this?

For a multi developer project it would be nice if the project root folder would be determined by the place the project was openend and the project member files are from saved relative from the .geany file.

Is this already possible and i overlooked something, or is it planned, or did i miss an issue such a system would cause?

thanks ahead and greetings

atcl

PS: Is there a specification of the file format of .geany file?

Hi atcl,

This question is best asked on the Geany mailing list (http://www.geany.org/Support/MailingList#geany-users) or the #geany IRC channel on irc.freenode.net, because then the upstream Geany developers, who are most familiar with Geany will be able to answer your question.

Kind regards,
Chow Loong Jin
