What happened to the quarterly releases?

Hello,

for a long time, there where quarterly releases. But for Q3/2017 there was no release yet. The Q2 release comes with gdb 7.12. Gdb7.12 has a problem with serial timeout: https://sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2017-02/msg00560.html and a related fix https://sourceware.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=binutils-gdb.git;a=commit;h=9bcbdca808b5f9fec6217d20bd4b48a56008c460.

So a release, at least fixing the gdb problem would be appriciated!
