NXP LPC command line programming software for lpclink2

Asked by hugo

Hi,

I am looking for the NXP command line programming software referred to in https://community.nxp.com/thread/389139
It looks as if the executable name is crt_emu_cm_redlink but I cannot find it anywhere on the NXP web site. I need it for RHEL 7 Linux. I'd appreciate if somebody could provide me with a download link.

Regards,

Hi Hugo1,

You'll need to install LPCXpresso. You'll then find that binary under lpcxpresso/bin subdirectory in the LPCXpresso install directory.

Best regards.

Hi Thomas,

700M of Eclipse bloatware to get a small command line programmer? Is there no other way? Maybe NXP should consider that not everybody has a 1Terabit fibre optics internet link...

But thanks for the reply; I had feared that already.

Kind Regards,

Hi Hugo,

There might be another way which doesn't require to download the whole IDE but this is out of my area of expertise. You should ask the question on NXP's forums.

Best regards,

Thomas
