4.9 2015sq3 Newlib no libc.a

Asked by Trampas

I just installed the windows version of 4.9 2015q3 and I did not find libc.a? I was wondering if I was missing something?

Thanks
Trampas

Hi trampas,

Sorry for the delay. The windows distribution should also contain libc.a, actually multiple versions of libc.a for each multilib.

In '<InstallDir>\arm-none-eabi\lib\' you can find libc.a and inside it's multilib directories you will find their corresponding libc.a's.

Were you just trying to find a libc.a or are you failing to link it to your application?

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Andre
