python and pretty printing on windows

Asked by Daniel Pfeffer

Hi all,

having had a hard time to learn how pretty-printing STL-Variables works on windows environment, I coulnd't manage to find instructions on how to make it work for an ARM Toolchain.

Are there any precompiled packages with python-support? If not: Would it be possible to provide such a package for the latest and future versions?

Greetings

I think the support to Python inside gdb isn't enabled in this embedded tool chain so far. And no plan to do it currently. If you need this feature, you can regenerate tool chain by following our howto-build doc and scripts.

Looks like Python support is disabled alright...

Thanks for your answers.

As only Linux and OSX are supported build-platforms, and I don't have one of those, I'll keep track of the static linking against libpython in future versions.
Yet, I cannot estimate the needed effort to provide such a version for windows packages.

Can you help with this problem?
