How to open? :|

I am new at linux and on my elementary os i couldnt find any working weather widget and i installed gazette. now, how do i open, or how do i put a weather widget on my desktop? I have the "column news" in my system settings and i dont know how to actually put something on the desktop. Ty.

You need to install dconf editor from software center. Open dconf editor and navigate the left column until you find gazette, I thing it is under the org section of dconf. Under gazette you will find all the parameters you need to change to make gazette work for you; for instance, to show the weather for your location, you need to search it in yahoo weather online and copy the six digit number from the address bar to the weather section in dconf editor; for feeds and news, copy the link to your favorite RSS provider.
