Verify Connectivity Check Failed

Asked by gurpreet

Hi

I am trying to install a two node Openstack setup using Fuel. I have the Fuel Master installed and Controller node and Compute 1 are booted via PXE.

Before deploying the controller node and compute node, I tried to do a Verify Connectivity Check and its failing the check

"Repository connectivity check from the Fuel Slave nodes through the public & admin (PXE) networks."

Following is the setup i have

Fuel Master (Eth 0) ------ L2 Switch 1---- Public Network (Internet)
Fuel Master (Eth 1) ------ L2 Switch 2 (PXE)
Slave 1 (Eth 0) ----- L2Switch 2 (PXE)
Slave 1 (Eth 1) ----- L2 Switch 1---- Public Network (Internet)
Slave 2 (Eth 0) ----- L2Switch 2 (PXE)
Slave 2 (Eth 1) ----- L2 Switch 1---- Public Network (Internet)

I know that Fuel Master can get to the internet as it was able to create the ubuntu bootstrap image.

I am using 9.0 for Mitaka version.

Additionally, I see the eth1 physical link on both the slaves down. When i trigger "Verify Connectivity Check", I do the eth1 interface for slave 1 and slave 2 come up intermittently. I am guessing that as part of connectivity check the two interfaces are enabled temporarily but then after the check completes the eth1 interfaces are brought down.

Greatly appreciate any help on this.

Thanks
Gurpreet
