All env nodes are in error after adding compute node

Asked by Piotr Kopec

Hi all,

I have deployed OpenStack env using fuel 8.0. It is currently a production environment and it is working fine. I made a mistake while trying to add compute node: I entered FQDN instead of hostname in the fuel GUI and I got error deploying changes.

Now I have ALL nodes in error state but OpenStack is working fine.

Then I removed this node because I could not change the FQDN of this node when it was in the env.

The question is what will happen if I will click "Deploy changes" after I removed this node from the env. Will Fuel start reinstalling entire env because all nodes are in error state or will it somehow figure out that OpenStack is already installed leave the env intact and will it just revert this change?

Is it possible to reset those nodes back to OK state?

Thanks,
Piotr
