Fuel upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 Failed

Asked by Fabio on 2015-07-16

Hi all,

I'm trying to update the fuel master node from 6.0 to 6.1 following the instruction into User Guide (https://docs.mirantis.com/openstack/fuel/fuel-6.1/user-guide.html#upgrading-and-updating-from-earlier-releases) , but the update fails.

Following the obtained printout:

2015-07-15 16:29:39 DEBUG 12506 (utils) Execute command "docker load -i "/var/www/nailgun/docker/images/fuel-images.tar""

Greetings Fabio,

please confirm you have enough space in /var/log partition, an the download date of the upgrade package. We released a second-version upgrade package because of https://online.mirantis.com/hubfs/Technical_Bulletins/Mirantis-Technical-Bulletin-18-Upgradeto6_1-1.pdf

Best,
Fabrizio

Hello Fabrizio,

in /var partition this is the space available:

/dev/mapper/os-var 36G 31G 5,0G 87% /var

I've downloaded the tarball on 14th of July at http://software.mirantis.com as reported at https://docs.mirantis.com/openstack/fuel/fuel-6.1/user-guide.html#upgrading-and-updating-from-earlier-releases

Best Regards,

Fabio
