Attach a fiber channel storage on node

Hello mario,
do you want to add a storage after a Fuel deployment?
Or is your a general info request on how to setup such a channel on a to-provision node?
What model of storage do you want to use?
Have you tried `lsblk` on the node with a standard Linux distribution (such as Ubuntu, i.e.)?

Yes i attach the storage after the deploy.

We have connect a LUN of HP EVA 4400 FC. SERVER BLADE -> HBA -> VIRTUAL CONNECT -> SWITCH FC -> EVA

Yes i use Ubuntu 1.04.4 LTS for the deploy with Fuel 6.0

I try to reboot the server but i cannot view the new disk.

Ciao Fabrizio, grazie per la risposta. Si abbiamo presentato ad un controller node ed a un compute node una LUN dopo aver completato l'installazione con Fuel 6.0. Sostanzialmente non vediamo SDB. Abbiamo provato con il comando lsblk.
Abbiamo provato anche a fare il restart del server. Sui nodi utilizziamo Ubuntu 1.04.4 LTS

Hi, now i view the storage FC but i view 8 disk and not 1.

Hello Mario,

please explain which steps you followed to make the FC recognized.
So, do you have a setup with Controller+Storage (Ceph? RadosGW?) roles combined?

I was wrong to configure the HBA storage on compute node.

We use Compute Node with Ceph.

But now i have a problem with multipath.
