Controller and cinder-lvm nodes can't ping each other

Asked by Drazic Lin

I made an ISO with the latest code from git hub.
Then I tried a simple deployment with 1 controller & 1 Cinder LVM (multinode mode, neutron with vlan network).

Each node with 2 NIC - 1 for admin/manage/storage network, 1 for public network.
Deployment succeeded but I can't ping the node from the other by 192.168.0.X or 10.20.0.X. Then I solved the problem by rebooting the nodes. And every time the network between the nodes is dead right after the deployment finishes. Is that an issue that the network should wake up by rebooting?

Is that because I didn't seperate the private network to the 3rd NIC?

Hello DrazicLin,
if you made the ISO with one of the latest nightly community builds, it might contain some bug.
On which nightly build number did you create your ISO?

OK I got it! I'm sorry that I cleaned my environment so I didn't keep the build number. I just remember that the source is from 12/23 night (UTC+8). Anyway now I am trying with fuel 6.0 preview version and it works fine. Appreciate so much and would mind closing this problem page?
