LBaaS package for fuel 5.0.2 have dependancy issue with fuel 5.0.1

Asked by abdullah

Hi,
I was trying to install LBaaS on an environment which was deploy using fuel 5.0.1.
Since there are no LBaaS package for Fuel 5.0.1 in either the IOS or the Mirror http://fuel-repository.mirantis.com/fwm/5.0.1/ubuntu/pool/main/
I try to install fuel 5.0.2 LBaaS package but I face a dependency problem .

# dpkg -i lbaas.deb
Selecting previously unselected package neutron-lbaas-agent.
(Reading database ... 129092 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking neutron-lbaas-agent (from lbaas.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of neutron-lbaas-agent:
 neutron-lbaas-agent depends on neutron-common (= 2:2014.1.1-fuel5.0.2~mira4); however:
Version of neutron-common on system is 1:2014.1.r1-fuel5.0.1~mira4.
dpkg: error processing neutron-lbaas-agent (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Processing triggers for ureadahead ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 neutron-lbaas-agent

Is there any way around this issue? why there are no 5.0.1 LBaaS package?

Hi,

sorry for misleading. I think the easier way would be to upgrade to new version of fuel.
Please see http://docs.mirantis.com/openstack/fuel/fuel-5.1/user-guide.html#upgrading-and-updating-from-earlier-releases

lbaas-agent had appeared only in 5.1 (5.0.2) version.

Can you help with this problem?
