How often does lens update content, if app isn't running?

How often does content refreshes in unity lens if app isn't running? Can I edit this value?

Ok, so I noticed that if I'd try to search for feeds and then empty the search field again - I would get refreshed feeds on the dash. Still, any plans to implement automatic refreshing of the friends content in the dash?

It will refresh every 15 minutes regardless of whether the app is running or not. You can edit this value in gsettings using either dconf, or this command in a terminal:

    gsettings set com.canonical.friends interval 15

(of course replace 15 with the number you want. minimum is 5 minutes).
