Failed login for user

Hi, the affected system is running 9.10 on x64. After a recent restart, nxserver will not allow any users to log in. In auth.log:

Dec 9 15:53:28 ws-ubuntu sshd[17597]: Accepted publickey for nx from 172.16.1.176 port 56225 ssh2

Dec 9 15:53:51 ws-ubuntu sshd[17845]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user nxuser
Dec 9 15:53:52 ws-ubuntu nxserver[17995]: (nx) Failed login for user=nxuser from IP=172.16.1.176

Any particular debugging options here or logs that might be useful to troubleshoot?

Linked bug. When logging in with ssh there is (for some reason) a 10-15 second delay. Setting the timeout to 30 seconds fixes the problem.
