Memory? I'm crashing on speed test and I think its a memory problem.

Asked by Joe Andrieu

I'm using Teensyduino and the Sparkfun digital combo board and the speed-test fails. A few other tests also fail after running for a bit. I do get some data from the device, so I know its working to some extent. But it crashes after a dozen or two reads.

I'm guessing there's a memory leak somewhere and it's killing the limited ram on my device.

Can you give me any pointers about the general memory model you're using? What functions allocate memory, etc?

Anything would be appreciated.

I wouldn't think about a crash.. try decreasing the length of your wires connecting the board, especially the ones carrying I2C signals. You can also use small pullups resistors, like 1.5K or 2.2K Ohm.

Can you help with this problem?
