dead FreeIMU - nessun segnale FIMU dopo volo

Asked by Silvestro Gregorio

Last night I flew with my Y6 Multiwire FImu 0.3.5.BMP both indoors and outdoors without stability problems, and with great satisfaction for new FreeIMU, just installed, performances. Today, I tried to do the same in the countryside, but my attempt to flew my Y6 ended upside down and in all the other attempts it was impossible to find stability. This evening, once connected to Multiwii 1.8 P2 configurator I discovered that all the sensor signals were 0. The IMU is connected to the Arduino Mega 2560 as the wiring diagram suggest, I disabled the internal I2C pullups, and, at this moment, I'm not able to understand the problem. Can you help me?

Hi Silvestro, if the IMU was working before and after traveling with it you are having problems then probably some of your connections failed. Please check again that the connections are correct and that the soldering is good. Also, check that the MultiWii software is configured correctly. Keep me posted.
