MultiWii patch for FreeIMU

Asked by Paolo

Hello there,
I was playing with the MultiWii and FreeIMU 0.3.5 MS,
I was reading this forum:
http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=471&p=2445&hilit=FreeIMU#p2445
and applied the patch on the recent version of MultiWii 1_8_patch1,
however I have got several rejections like:

epokh@epokh-quad:~/sketchbook/MultiWii_1_8_patch1$ patch -i imu.patch -b
patching file Sensors.pde
Hunk #1 succeeded at 65 with fuzz 1 (offset 37 lines).
Hunk #2 FAILED at 207.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 244.
Hunk #4 FAILED at 255.
Hunk #5 FAILED at 280.
Hunk #6 succeeded at 383 with fuzz 2 (offset 41 lines).
4 out of 6 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file Sensors.pde.rej
patching file def.h
Hunk #1 FAILED at 23.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 42.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 95.
3 out of 3 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file def.h.rej
patching file config.h
Hunk #1 FAILED at 72.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 93.

could somebody post the entire Processing sketch for the MultiWii which
works with the FreeIMU?

Cheeeeers.

That's because the code on the forum is already part of the MultiWii software. Just use 1.8 patch 1 and you should be fine.
Most recent development version, which you can get from http://code.google.com/p/multiwii/ using SVN, also has working barometer code.

Hmm right, should I run the quaternion code on the IMU or I need to use something different?

The MultiWii software comes with Arduino and Processing components. You don't need anything from the FreeIMU library to use the MultiWii code.

Can you help with this problem?
