I wish to download and install icon to speech on an ASUS EEE netbook.

Create a directory freeicontospeech, with an icons subdirectory.
Download and adjust the icons per http://wiki.laptop.org/go/FreeIconToSpeech#Development_News .
Download Free Icon-To-Speech files from Launchpad to freeicontospeech.
Adjust permissions: chmod 777 free_icon-to-speech.py
Run the program: ./free_icon-to-speech.py
Enjoy!

By the way, we are also working on packaging new icons with the software, for easy installation.
