non-programmer looking for how to render a batch for animations? thanks!

Asked by Leslee Hare on 2012-05-22

Hi, I'm an artist who makes stop-motion animations with Pshop/Gimp and Movie Maker.

I understand there's a way to generate iterations of a flame that can be used as an animation, and I'd love to learn how to do that.

I'm not a programmer, but have used Apophysis for a couple years, by manually rendering individual images (argh!). I'm loving Fr0st so far, and would be sooooo grateful if someone could send me a script for a simple loop.

Or, if there's one already in the files I've downloaded (today), if you can please point it out to me...

thanks so much!
Leslee

Yes, there is a script to do that, it's called morph_flame.py. It can generate a sequence of frames in a single file, which you can then render in one go in fr0st's render dialog.

Can you help with this problem?
